Cross Country season starts this week with the first training session on Wednesday April 24th, and the first event this Sunday, April 28th. If your kids are participating please join the WhatsApp group invite for updates.
Winter Cross Country Program
Your current membership includes access for Camberwell Malvern members to compete in the Eastern 7’s Cross Country program every Sunday morning and LAVIC events. This program includes centres within the Eastern Region that host at different locations.
Each week follows a similar timetable and we recommend arriving 30 minutes before your event. Simply arrive with your child’s registration bib / barcode & t-shirt, wait for your age-group to be called and enjoy the fun!
Please note the XC program should be a parent-led event. On our website we have information and a contact person, however each week it is up to the competitor to put themselves in the event and wear the appropriate attire. Whilst most weeks a committee person will be present for guidance, it will not necessarily be the case.
We ask all members to arrange any uniform orders or barcode / bib requests during the week. The club contact person will then arrange for them to be picked up or delivered. Winter is a great time to order the club hoodies! Please use the online shop for any uniform orders.
Training Schedule
Training commences on Wednesday, April 24th and continues every Wednesday evening 4:45pm to 6pm at McAlpine Oval in Kooyong. Tony and his team will be running it most weeks (excl. school holidays).
Camberwell Malvern hosted event
Camberwell Malvern will be holding our host event on Sunday, May 19th at Orchard Grove, Blackburn South. More details in due course.
