Camberwell-Malvern Little Athletics Club (CMLAC) is run entirely by dedicated volunteers, with the majority of these being parents and guardians.
The success of our weekly competition relies on every family contributing throughout the season.
As a volunteer-run club, parent helpers are essential to the successful running of our competition days. To help streamline the process, this year we’ll manage volunteering through SignUpGenius. We ask all new and returning families to take a moment to explore the roles and signup using the link below.

Parent volunteering at a glance
- Plan to help around once every three to four competition weeks
- Choose a date and role that suits you through SignUpGenius
- No experience necessary, training and support provided
- Most roles allow you to stay close to your child’s age group
- Each member family is required to earn a minimum number of Parent Duty Points during the season to reflect a fair contribution to the running of the club
- Our efficient 5 event, 2-hour program is unique to Camberwell-Malvern and only possible through the efforts of all families!

- Join the CMLAC Committee. We’re a super fun bunch, volunteering our time in addition to working and parenting. This means we all do what we can and the time commitment is up to you. We still have some Committee roles we are looking to fill, so if you want to hear more, please contact Sam Connellan (President) or Dave McLean.
