Safety at CMLAC
We take our responsibility seriously to provide an enjoyable and safe experience with each session we hold. Our aim is for our families and their athletes perform to their very best each time they practice or participate in our training and competition sessions. In order to do this, we have some important practices in place that help with this.
Physical Safety
Given the growing numbers of athletes at CMLAC, the club ensures that a first aid professional is in attendance for each Saturday competition. They are there to provide basic first aid and redirect to appropriate care where required.
Child Safety
CMLAC is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people involved in Little Athletics. The rights of children are fundamental.
All of our age group managers have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC). The WWCC applies to adults who work with children or are engaged in volunteer roles involving children (under 18 years of age).
CMLAC is a Child Safe organisation. For more information about the Child Safe initiative visit the Little Athletics Victoria website.
