Dear Members,
This week is our final Wednesday twilight meeting and it will be the last chance for our athletes to register PBs! We hope to see strong numbers and the kids having lots of fun.
We have State Track & Field next weekend so no event will be held at Kooyong. Our final club event will be hosted on Saturday March 15th where we will present all our awards.
Special Race Walk training – Wednesday, March 5th
Alongside our normal training program we have arranged for one of our coaches to run a Race Walk training session this Wednesday. This will provide ideal preparation for any athletes progressed through to the State competition, but all are welcome.
LAVIC State Track and Field competition this Saturday & Sunday at Casey Fields
Best of luck to athletes competing at LAVIC State track and field. A few reminders:
- Any athletes that need replacement bibs, Coles patches or club uniform items, please reach out on Wednesday

Parents of participants will be rostered on for duties. Please refer to the relevant WhatsApp group and / or email.
- Please follow the LAVIC rules around uniforms and spikes

Please allow plenty of time to arrive at the track and be ready for call room 30 minutes prior to race time.

Parent duties: U12 parents are on set-up and pack-up duties.
CMLAC Committee 2025/26
As I mentioned last weekend in person, our club needs to find a substantial number of new members for committee next year. Thanks to the three new parents who have already signed on for next season. We need more and watch this space for further information about how we grow and sustain the club.
Canteen
Our canteen and BBQ will be open this week.
We look forward to seeing our athletes on Wednesday for competition.
